Claims without documentation
Be cautious when performance, legal compliance, lifetime coverage, or glass safety is promised without a written product specification or warranty.
Questions that should have clear answers
- Which exact film will be installed?
- What is the measured or expected net VLT on this glass?
- Who provides warranty service?
- Is the film approved for this glass type?
- How are contamination, edge gaps, and existing damage handled?
Pressure tactics
A provider should be willing to explain tradeoffs. “Darkest is always best,” “all ceramic is the same,” and “this is definitely legal everywhere” are oversimplifications.
